In the picture I think that the kids are trying to watch a baseball game and it could be the first ever. I know that when people started to play baseball that it became really popular everywhere. In the picture it may be lower class men that are trying to watch the game because the kids are lying down and the others are standing just to see a glance of the game and the tickets were all sold out. Back in the day baseball was a big deal especially when Jackie Robinson was playing and that could also be the case that people wanted to see the first African American baseball player. Just by seeing this picture you can see so much and predict what they are doing, when it happened, and why.
